Winner of the 2014 UAV Outback Challenge was Canberra UAV's Pilatus PC-6 Porter, a 2.7m VQ Models ARF powered by DLE-35.

Byam Wight's Black Horse Model: Aero L-39 Albatros

Byam reports "... very light all balsa construction at 5.6kg RTF, hence the relatively small 90mm Stumax fan on 10S LiPos pulling 112 amp"

From CMAC's archives for July 2012 (a foggy season in Canberra) is a photo of ex-CMAC President Terry Griffiths with his scale model of the MX Aircraft MX2 two-place aerobatic aircraft.

Terry's model was manufactured by EG Aircraft, had 2.2 m wingspan, weighed 8.2 kg and was powered by an OS GT55 petrol engine turning a 22x8 Xoar prop

From CMAC's archives for September 2012 is a photo of Chris Thorne with his classic "MK Blue Angel" Pattern Aerobatic model, powered by a piped OS-61.

A Blue Angel won the F3A World Champs 1973 piloted bt T Yoshioka of Japan. For a Youtube video of a similar model in action MK Blue Angel in Flight.

From CMAC's archives for October 2012 is a photo of Maciek Rucinski with his scale model of the Sukhoi Su-26. Maciek's model is the Hangar 9 3.1m Sukhoi SU-26MM ARF with a flying weight of 17-19 Kg.

From CMAC's archives for March 2010 here is a photo of Stan Rucinski with his scale model of the Extra Aircraft EA-300. Stans's 2.1m model was manufactured by CARF Models

From CMAC's archives for February 2010 here is a photo of Stirling Jones's outstanding Ultimate Bipe. At 46% scale, this was one of the largest model aircraft ever flown at CMAC.

Stirlo's model was the Hangar 9 46% TOC Ultimate ARF powered by a DLE-222 Flat Four Gasoline Engine

Vic's model was the Precision Aerobatic Extra 260.
